25 Yr old MPB NW3 thinning crown Q's HELP! PLEASE READ!
So I have battled the onset of MPB this past year. It has been a difficult year as I feel like I've tried everything.
-I had to stop rogaine and Propecia due to severe side effects after 4 months of use.
-I shaved my head over the summer and look awful like someone who hasn't seen the light of day for months. (Pale Caucasian Guy)
-I even ordered a hair piece but promptly returned after it didn't fit right and after deciding I wasn't ready to shave my head to wear hair.
I went to the Transplant Dr. who mentioned I at 25 am too young and have not lost enough hair for surgery.
I am now an NW3 with a thinning vertex.
IT HAS BECOME MY OBSESSION OVER THE PAST YEAR AND I CANT SEEM TO GET OVER IT.
I use Caboki on the vertex but it can't cover up the severe temple recession.
I do alright with chicks but as a fairly good looking guy, I often feel like I could do much better with a full head of hair. (I get rejected ALOT)
Obviously every girl is different, but with a full head of hair, I feel I would be so much more content and comfortable with myself, not just socially, but professionally as well especially because I work in sales.
Has any one have any legitimate suggestions? Do quality hairpieces really work?
I am considering ordering another and am touching of looking at myself in the mirror and touching my balding head every two seconds. Suggestions?
Will post pics if I could get some legit, helpful responses...
Thanks!

What side effects did you get?
If you try and go the HT route it is best to be on treatments to help stabilize things. Did you get fin and minox sides?
If you don't have a problem wearing a piece, go for it man. There are really good ones out there.

Have you considered reducing your dose of fin? Some have had success with smaller doses.

Also, have you considered that your side effects may be psychosomatic? I know some people get side effects, but a lot of people also get hypochondriasis. I am not saying this as an insult, I am saying this as a real possibility. Side effects are real, but so is hyphocondriasis, and it is no laughing matter:

About 4 to 7% of folks suffer from hypochndriasis, a dangerous mental health condition.
Whichever you have, side effects or hypochondriasis, make sure you get treated. Find out what you really have and get proper treatment if indeed you have this condition.

On fin I was feeling fatigued and had no libido.
On Minox I eventually began suffering from chest pains and a massive shed.
I would rather be bald than not be able to use my dick properly and I don't think I will be going back on the medication again.
And Macster, I don't believe I am a hypochondriac but I will ask my therapist because I am truly obsessed with my hairloss.
Appreciate the prompt responses!

If this how you feel, then I would start getting used to hair pieces.

Hehe, not to be an arse but an OCD type of personality...obsessions with things...is strongly linked with the likelihood of being hypochondriac.
Make sure to check this out. You may be missing the very good benefits that can come from Rogaine and Propecia all because of some cr@p you read on the internet.

Click the above link... The blotted out portion is me expressing my frustration over my hair loss.
As you can see, I can still cover up the crown with Caboki or Toppik, but the temples have receded so bad, I look like Jude Law, just 15 years younger.
What do you all think I should do at this point gauging from that pic?
