Same issue here, nearing 5 months post FuE noticed them about 6 weeks in not in a cluster but spread around hairs buzzed down and just wouldn't shed and wouldn't grow, I was told the best thing to do was just leave them be and gradually they'll shed on there own, it wont hinder the follicle producing a new hair it will just make the current hair pop out when its good and ready. I still have a few remaining but a lot of them have fallen of there own accord, so its your choice you can leave them be and they should go of there own accord eventually don't think prying them out would be the best call though.

    Hi Slickster

It's been more than 9 years since you posted about that! I have been searching on Google for someone had the same issue and found your thread!

I'm 6 months and 20 days post my surgery. Have a couple of grafts in the front line, they have been idle for a while i plucked them with a tweezer yesterday and felt an amount of resistance when done so, i feel sad if they are dead coz they made a clear difference making a gap in my front hairline.

Did you have them regrow 4 months after writing this thread which means you had to wait for 10 months?

    Thanks mate.

I added a photo of the two follicles before pulling them out.

    Hi Slickster,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I have a similar concern. I am only one month post HT. A major of my transplanted grafts have grown visibly and more than half of them have shed. But I see a good number of grants that are just sitting there, neither growing nor shedding. They are mostly localized to one specific area. I am worried that they are dead or got damaged somehow.

It will be helpful if you can post your follicular growth timeline.
