Do we try and execute the crowdfunding idea and put all the money towards histogen? Replicel doesn't need funding, they got a boatload from Shiseido. Follica probably has enough from PureTech Ventures.
Seems to me that if Histogen had to, they'd probably beg for money.
Next step would probably be to contact Gail so we can get a better idea of what Histogen's roadmap and funding plan is, and to pitch the idea of a kickstarter to her.

They need a lot of money. It might be possible via crowdfunding, how knows. But once they go public, anybody who wants to crowdfund can just buy some shares plus that they then have access to the big investors/hedge funds. So that really seems the better option to me. Anyway I'm sure Gail is smart enough to figure something out.

I'd buy shares, for SURE. And hell I would buy plenty. Histogen would make a ton of cash.
Hopefully one day they'll just slam us with something awesome.
Its probably our fault though.
Everybody starting freaking out and making up speculative bull crap on forums so they went silent.
We bring it upon ourselves. I would not be surprised if Gail gets 100s emails a day all asking the same thing.
It must be insane. We need to be strategic and not annoy them to the point of ignoring all of us.
Do you really think anyone of them have much sympathy for us? Forget it dude. Its mostly men that are sending these emails... and we all know nobody gives a shit about mens health.

Money of course is a big factor. But believe it or not, for most researchers the fun of doing it and the recognition in the field when they get to a breakthrough, like Jahoda's recent breakthrough, that's the real reason they're doing it.
