2716 units 5 days ago - Dr. Glenn Charles
So far, so good.
I had 2716 units transplanted last Wednesday at Dr. Glenn Charles in Boca Raton. My review:
Dr. Charles is very good. He is confident - you feel you are in the hands of a guy that knows what he is doing. He has a good "bedside manner". Although I really wasn't nervous going into this procedure, if I was, he had the type of personality/manner to calm anybody. He called me the night of the procedure to be sure I was OK and he gives you his cell number to reach him anytime. Very important - he has a good staff (since they do lots of the work). They were quick, competent, professional, and very pleasant. Alexis, his office marketing person is also very easy on the eyes.
The procedure itself is relatively painless. Outside of about 4 or 5 minutes to apply the anesthetic to your head, the rest of the procedure is really painless. Getting into a good sleeping position the first couple of nights so you aren't putting direct pressure on the incision on the back of the head is a challenge but aside from that, I am ready to go back to work.
I would recommend Dr. Charles to anyone.
I will post pictures as soon as the hair grows in.
