Yellow bulges on hair

Hi everyone,

every now and then, some hairs fall off that have these yellowish bulges at the root. I just bought a microscope so was able to look at them closely, does anyone know what they are, see the 2 photos below:

Damn those are some pretty big bulges. Not sure what those are. Hope you get additional responses. I am curious what that is.
