Default Is my body absorbing the minox?

I use the 5% liquid with the dropper, and use no more than the specified 1 mL, but when I put it in before bed, I'll wake up during the night feeling drugged/dizzy/lightheaded, and thats only using it once a day!

I use the liquid and not the foam because I feel like I cant get the foam to the scalp very well, and most of it just goes in my hair

If it matters, I use it for frontal balding, and near the temples

Try telling yourself it's not happening. It could be your mind-state.

    Look at your diet
    Look at your sleeping habits
    Look at your pre-sleeping habits

Don't assume its the minox, because it's less likely.

I disagree with this! It can very well be happening to you! It happened to me every time I've used Minoxidil. And I am extremely observant and in tune with my body. These side effects certainly happen when Minox goes systemic! It's on the warning label for Christ sake. I can recommend a few things to try and help but beyond that you should quit if it still effects you.

#1: Do NOT apply Minoxidil right after a shower. A hot/wet head will allow more absorption into your system.
#2: If possible apply it in the morning instead of at night.

    Good luck

It's just statistically less likely that the drug is messing with sleeping habits than lifestyle choices messing with sleeping habits.
