    Thickening shampoo after HT

    Hi guys

I had a ht 5 and half months ago now wanted to use thickening shampoo a couple of times a week(possibly along side a thickening conditioner)
Is it good to use thickening shampoos in general?

And if so is 5 and half months to early to start? ( can it do any harm?)

    Thanks

Not sure if those hair thickening shampoos have any real effect, but I don't think they will cause any real harm. You can definitely start using them at this time. No worries.

Dr. Charles, I was wondering if you have ever heard of the Living Proof line of hair care products. They have an interesting thickening line and usually I would agree with you that they are all hype, but the guy behind the company is Dr. Bob Langer. I'm not sure if you're familiar with him but he is an MIT professor and basically one of the fathers of bio-materials science and the most cited engineer in history. Anyways the thickening line looks to have some solid science behind it and I think I'm going to pick it up when I run out of the stuff I have now.

Before doing anything just consult your surgeon once because if you apply anything like conditioners and shampoo without intimating your Doctor then you may face problems. So, consult before applying anything to your scalp.
