What is MSM?

I am interesting in finding out what is MSM, as I have seen it mentioned many times online when it comes to hair loss. Can anyone educate me on it, and would you recommend it?

There's a huge thread on it somewhere here. I followed the regime recommended, combined with vit c religiously for about 18 months. Can't say it benefited me.

It's a natural organic sulfur that's benefitial for joints and connective tissues. I really don't think it has any affect on hair loss, treatment wise. It does however cause your hair and nails to grow faster so that could be why people recommend it for MPB sufferers.

Thanks all. I look at it like a vitamin type of supplement. It can't hurt in the overall programme, but it's not going grow your hair, if I have summed it up right,
