Default Less Appearance of Hairloss Ten Years Later

Some men are satisfied to hold the progression of hair loss back by using Rogaine, Propecia or Avodart for instance, while others include small to medium size FUE sessions every year or two to avoid having the appearance of thinning hair. The latter is the case with our patient, whose hair is looking better today than it did 10 years ago. MPB is progressive and more aggressive with some men. At 43 years of age, our patient's hair has improved since he was 33. With his hair parted down the middle, there is only a slightly thin appearance on top when you see him in person and his result looks 100% natural. No one would ever know he had hair transplant surgery.

Today (11-08-2013) our patient is having 625+ grafts to add more width to his hairline.

Actually his hair was wet and you can see if you look closely, but not dripping wet as in the before photos. The point being, MPB is progressive and can sometimes be kept a bay with Propecia/Avodart and small FUE sessions every couple of years. Of course this depends on the individual and how aggressive their hair loss is. Many of Dr. Cole's patients follow a maintenance approach to hair restoration.
