Looks good. Not jaw dropping, but I would rather injections every 6 months than minox or fin every single day.

The numbers from follica are all over the place and changing in some many peoples threads. These links are basically saying the average recipient of histogen so far can expect an

Increase of 10% hair count?(please correct me if I misunderstood)

As long as histogen strengthens current hair from dht damage and increases injected areas life expectancy they should definitely still come to market as a preventable treatment.

BUT 10% as a growth treatment wouldn't even be noticeable. The numbers need to get to @ least a 40% increase in total hair count in the treatment area for this to be a success.

the only way the 10% increase works is if its definitely compoundable.

You just need to watch the video i posted

It is measured with a computer, as Dr naughton explains.

As I understand it the 10% increase is in vellus hairs (which can also then eventually becomes terminal hair at a later time point).
Presumably it either revives vellus hair (the ones smaller than visible by computer), to the point where the computer can now see it. Or possibly it encourages de-novo vellus hair, it's one of the two.

The 20% increase are current vellus hairs that have been converted to terminal hairs.

So looking at it that way, it makes perfect sense to me.

'Hair count increase ranges from the 20s to the 60s', Dr Naughton explains.

So that is from +20% to +60% increase! (with an actual terminal hair count increase around 45%-55% in the pictures shown)

Also remember this is just the Primary Efficacy stage, so more studies will be done I expect, hopefully to further increase efficacy. Probably by doing more injections.

Very very good news, as expected this is a product that works but doesn't cure us fully.

This is the next generation of products(Histogen, BIM, Replicel) in which we can get 20-60% recovery of our hair.

The key question IMO that we need to answer next is what happens when combined with FIN?

EDIT: and we have to recognize that they will be raising the dose in the next trial!! Could get even better results.

    Don't be a schmuck.

Even the pictures look better than 10%. Couple that with the information at hand I'd say Histogen 1. You 0.

Already read those links last year.

You need to watch the video of Dr Naughton speaking two weeks ago, here:

    http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthread.php?t=14611

    At 9mins 40 secs
'...a photograph and then measured with a computer, so we saw that patients had hair count increase as high as 61%, terminal hair great increase as well ...and so rangings from the 20s up to the 60s as well, so very, very strong efficacy'

quoted from Dr Gail Naughton in her own words, two weeks ago.

Also this is just the measurements at 3 months, it increases more at the 1 year time point
