Realistically, none of the possible treatments that have the potential to make dut and fin things of the past have the potential to be on the market soon. So yes, stick to fin or dut and minox.

RU is the only true wild card.

i think we have to be realistic: Hair cloning is at least 15/20 years away from being available as a treatment. Histogen and Replicel maybe 3/4 years away but they'll probably only give you some peach fuzz. Dr Nigam hasn't shown any good evidence for hair doubling, so i think we can say thats "dead in the water" now. CB and bimatoprost will only benefit those with some hair still.

So yes, we are a way off from getting the sort of coverage we'd all like.

Nothing makes us more special than the previous generations of sufferers who had to come to terms with being bald, but our children or childrens children may benefit.

If Nigam turns out to be legit, that's pretty much a cure right there. We just have to wait a few more months and see I guess.

Same thing with Dr. Wesley. Scarless + he might have serious regeneration as well. I wouldn't have known any of these things without this site. I'm actually pretty hopeful there'll be a partial cure in the next year or two (Wesley or Niagam): not a complete cure like hair multiplication but good enough to get going with life.
