Nice post, I like your optimism.
However, I think most people agree now that Pilofocus isn't that revolutionary - we're looking more at stem cell/biotech hair transplant techniques such as hair doubling, which means no scars and an infinite yield, a real possibility in the near future - now THAT would be revolutionary.
There's also various anti-androgen topicals such as CB-03-01 coming in the form of an acne cream next year, and initial studies for alopecia too.
I'm most optimistic about Histogen in the near term. The big 3 + CB could potentially be a bridge to HSC (and could even make it more effective if used simultaneously, who knows?). Then there's also the possibility of someone like Dr. Nigam bringing together a few top researchers, getting some crowdfunding, and offering experimental hair multiplication in Asia somewhere.

Too many ifs, to be frank. Pilofocus is just scarless FUE, whille Bimatoprost might be a bit better version of minox (best case scenario):
The future actually lies in work of Tsuji lab, and Dr. Christiano. However they are years away from starting human trials.I like your optimism man, but being a pragmatic, the research that matters hasn't been perfected in labs yet, let alone started with rials.
On the other hand CB holds promise, but there are still too many questions around it. Ofcourse I am rooting for them.

If nano works as a vehicle for cb, it would already be a cure for all nw2 nw3
-
Possibility of Nigam's doubling / HM treatments being a breakthrough if he can ever bothered to provide results that prove his claims

How do we know CB will be coming out next year? Also, is this mainly for thinning hair?

CB is definitely NOT coming out next year... not at least for hair loss... because apparently nobody cares to treat hair loss but Cosmo Pharmaceuticals does care to add another product into the mass amount of options for Acne. Idiots.
CB is available NOW if you want to take the black market route.

I have zero doubt that BIM will be released, definitely works at least to a minor extent, just not some amazing product(probably will give results between Minoxidil and Histogen, so say 15-20% tops vs. 25-30% of histogen or 5-10% min, just making up numbers here)
Also excited for histogen.
I just wanna hear the words "we've begun phase IIb trials" because that means we can start counting the days to an asian release.

Exactly. It's over a year now since they finished their phase ii/i.

I'm fairly optimistic about Allergan, we know they definately have the funds and the means to bring something new to the market. They certainly know how to market too (who hasn't heard of botox?).
And since propecia is going fully off-patent next month, that should help with the pricing of all competing meds on the market, at the consumer level.

Me too.
Dr Zeiring said on a previous bald truth show, that he has already injected himself with HSC (and stopped finasteride at least temporarily).
So clearly in his opinion it's definately worth having, and safe.
I can see a chain of events now that will lead to its release.
Have faith, the wheels are in motion:
Histogen have secured patents for HSC now (september 2013).
Next month, the merger and new company should form:
'Sol J. Barer, Ph.D., will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Restorgenex effective November 1, 2013.' - Histogen website. That's in just a few days.
Restorgenex will be on the OTC Share Market.
At phase 2b they should test 200 or more injections per person (for higher norwoods).
Dr Gail Naughton has successfully bought new treatments through fda approval before.
So she already has a successful track record of bringing regenerative medicines to market.
It's going to happen
