Sure, it seems in which context someone is using it, but concerning the related context (quote 1 above), this could mean almost everything suggested in quote 2. Interesting ...
as long as they dont all creep up on Feller and scream "BOO" while he is in the middle of a FUE procedure because the patient might end up with and accidental STRIP

No, I haven't had an FUE transplant with him. I still have a decent amount of hair at the age of 29 but I am considering FUE to fix up my hairline. I agree that there isn't enough photos of FUE results from Dr Bijan, but what he has posted online looks really good. Here are some examples:

Here are some amazing strip results he posted recently:

However, I am still concerned about the lack of feedback from actual patients. I don't see that many photos of results posted by any of his patients online. I found some on a dutch forum, here: http://www.haarweb.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=9183
I remember a poster here calling him 'beardyweirdy' who had work done by him. He seemed very happy with results and backed it up with photos. It would be nice if more Bijan patients like him posted there results online. I may consider having a small FUE operation of 500 grafts or less to see how it works out.

If you go to our website, you can see ...
Excerpt:
"Now that more than one physician appeared to be having success with the procedure, Dr. John Cole, MD began a more in depth evaluation of the procedure. At the same time Dr. William Rassman, MD was promoting follicular unit extraction or FUE itself. Dr. William Rassman, MD and Dr. Robert Bernstein, MD practiced their version of FUE or follicular unit extraction for 1 ½ years before they presented their technique to the world. They delayed presentation so that they could collect their scientific data on their procedure. After their data was presented, we found that it was possible to successfully perform CIT® on ..."
"1 ½ years before" - What exactly does it mean?
I mean, Dr. Rassman is claiming that he started developing FUE in the mid-90's and that he just was unwilling to publish it "for grandstanding purposes". That's exactly what Rassman is saying. So what?
I'm still waiting for an answer.

What about Shanti then>?

Regarding yield, i would say that if you let an layman do your extractions for you, you can expect a poor yield. That's no reflection on the physician's work. That's more of a reflection on the physician's poor judgment. Unlike, Dr. Epstein, I would say that strip surgery produces a poorer yield than FUE properly done. Many factors affect yield, however, even in the best hands.
I am just questioning that there are some threads that I have read that patients are reporting poor result with Dr Cole. I'm not saying all...... I just read SHANTI's post on this thread and he was not happy with your yield.....?? I'm just saying!

Yes, I know the case. The result was excellent. Not all patients think excellent results are good. Many times they forget what they looked like before the procedure. In other words, there is no way to make all patients happy. Of course I would put my work up against anyone who is doing FUE and it is typically much better. It probably has a lot to do with greater experience, a compulsion to get better results, and better hands.
No physician can make all patients happy. That's the beauty of variety. Thankfully we have that.
