    Betamethasone 0.1% ??

So I've just returned from the doctor's and after having ruled out any potential reversible causes for my hairloss, he's given me a prescription for Betamethasone 0.1% scalp application.

Now I'm a bit reluctant to use a corticosteroid regularly on my scalp, even one as mild as Betamethasone. Does anyone have experience with using it?

I'm currently on 5% Minoxidil BD, Dermarolling every 10 days and washing my hair with Nizoral 2% every 10 or so days too.

Also, what are people's thought on Nanogen products. Are they any good? Saw them in Boots earlier and was wondering. Especially the use of their 'Growth Factor Serum' along with Dermarolling.

    EDIT: I have MPB (NW3 + Thinning) not AA and I'm 20.

corticosteroids can give some regrowth but to be honest it isn't significant. Most people who use corticosteroids use it in combination with retin-a to try and counter the skin thinning caused by the corticosteroid.
