If Spencer is going then I will throw some money too. I really wish to get a complete recap of what happened there especially that this annual meeting is very special

Spencer lives in California, so travel should not be a concern to him.

*EDIT* No, not boring at all, quite the contrary: Jahoda is going to speak !!

    NORWOOD LECTURE
Hair Follicle Cloning, Regeneration, and Other Prospective Developments for the Transplant Clinic – Where Are We Now?
Featured Guest Speaker Colin Jahoda, MD, PhD Professor, School of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Durham University, U.K
Yeah but this doesn't mean Jahoda is going to reveal some kind of breakthrough. They might just have him there as guest speaker. Don't get too hyped up about this we all saw how the conference went six months ago

It's annual. Not six months. That was a different conference.

Lets stop talking about raising funds we don't even know if he wants to go!!!

So Spencer is a just radio host right? Too bad.

I've I had a site like this, I would pay a couple grand to travel to people like Gho, Nigam and the IHRS conference, then report about it. Actually I would try to get Nigam / Gho etc to pay for me to go. Someone should start a website / show like this and be an investigative journalist.... that would be cool.

    No,
Spencer Kobren is the founder of The American Hair Loss Association and The International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He is the author of The Bald Truth: The First Complete Guide to Preventing and Treating Hair Loss and The Truth About Woman's Hair Loss.

He also owns this site too.

Yeah I understand it was a different conference.............

But the substance of my point remains. People get too hyped up about these. This one in particular is a conference by hair transplant surgeons, i.e. the last people on the world who want to hear progress from Jahoda.

I highly doubt it will be worth sending someone there.

So true! Remember the highlight of 2012's ISHRS conference...they were boasting about was how effective FUT is as a gold standard for hair transplants! Scarring was not even mentioned as a huge shortcoming!
