FUT donor scar question
I had 4200 grafts done two months ago and have a couple of post-op questions about the donor area.
1.) My donor scar and the immediate area above and below is not growing any hair. I can understand why the scar itself would not grow hair but, why would the adjacent area not grow hair? It is bald in some areas at the ends of the scar (above each ear). It makes me look like I have an extremely bad haircut. Luckily, I don't cut my hair short in the back.
2.) Is it typical to have areas still completely numb after two months post-op?

Have you contacted the clinic you used? Do so and you will likely hear it is shock loss and likely temporary. There is a lot of tension placed in the areas which can cut off blood supply temporarily. it should resolve. If you develope a wide scar, hair of course will not grow from there unless you graft into it. The numbness will resolve as well..... It takes time.
Try using rogaine in the scar area... Might help jump start the return growth.
