    Default Itchy Scalp?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if someone could maybe help me with a problem I've been having lately. I've noticed lately that my scalp has been itching like crazy. I thought maybe it was because if I didn't wash my hair daily that i had a lot sebum build up, and maybe that was causing the itch.. So I started shampooing every day, but this didn't help. I've tried Nizoral, Selsun Blue, and Neutrogena, and none of them has relieved the itching. Every once in a while I'll get a pimple on my scalp that itches, and when I take a shower and run hot water over my scalp, it relieves the itching all over my scalp. I'm making an appointment with my doctor this week to see what the deal is. Anyone else experience something along these lines? Thanks !

Is the itching all over or is it around the hair loss area? If its around the hair loss area, it sort of normal due to DHT. Hence why people say use Nizoral. I had a similar problem where itching was around the hair loss area which confirm that I'm losing hair and found out about Nizoral. Nizoral initially help relief the itching greating. But despite Nizoral I still manage to get some small itching in an isolated area where my hair loss is the most at the left frontal hairline.
My doctor gave me a scalp lotion to apply to that area whenever there's itching occur there and it works pretty good and the itching stop. Everytime the itching ever re-appears I just apply the scalp lotion and it goes away again. I don't use the scalp lotion daily anymore. Just whenever itching decides to re-pop up.
    Ratio-Ectosone Scalp Lotion at 0.1%.

If you are itching that badly, have a visit to a dermatologist. You have already tried neutrogena, which in my opinion, is the best treatment for almost all "benign" itchies.
