the whole PGD2 theory came to light,
Dr. Nigam's doubling(and overall the whole transplant industry getting better really).
Follica's wounding theory.
Histogen finishing phase 2A
Replicel starting Phase 2a
sooo 2014:
Histogen finishing 2b, Replicel finishing 2a, probably more specific and better theories on hairloss, a few greymarket theories/products. More news on Follica's wounding theory/trials.
There's some stuff to look forward to, but the bottom line is don't worry about hairloss right now, the cure isn't coming next year, it's getting closer, but still a little bit away(2-3 years for the next product)
you could look at it in a positive light, that there is stuff on the way and that many people are trying to cure or you could look at it negatively and say it's years away and that everything is failing etc. etc. It's a slow industry that takes years to process.
Replicel have not started trials yet, they plan to start at the beginning of 2014, their phase II trial will also last 3 years, so they will only have completed phase II by 2017.
Phase III may be even longer, 4 maybe 5 years so if everything goes to plan we're looking at a release date of probably 2025 (given an extra 2/3 years for delays and bringing the product to market).

Not according to their official Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCe5...-uq5-0z33wA7f0
"The timeline to a commercial product depends on the execution of these trials and regulatory approvals. Nevertheless, if the technology proves safe and effective, RepliCel anticipates that a commercial product may be available in 2015 in non-Western jurisdictions."

Oh you were referring to their comment, well given the history of hair loss research, I still call bullshit.

Why not pubic hair transplants??!! After all, you have so many doctors set on performing chest and beard hair transplants.
