Dr. Lindsey 1600 graft plug repair on a 57 year old man, McLean VA
This fellow complained about a pluggy hairline, crown and lack of density. Fortunately he really has the perfect hair. Its salt and pepper, matches his skin, is curly and wirey, and dense. Hard to mess that perfect storm up. Thus, he looked pretty good on arrival and we discussed the option of not doing anything.
I tried to show how we make our slits right up to the previous grafts along the hairline. Every attempt is made to avoid hitting the roots that "are already paid for", and yet pack the hairline.
We put roughly 1000 in the hairline and 800 in the crown, also around a previously pluggy area.
He chose to have a small case done to pack his frontal triangles hairline and add density to his crown. He looks great and is not fully grown in. I think he’s about 8 months out and is moving out of the area so I’m not sure if I’ll get 12 month pictures to post. Shown are the day of surgery, 1 week, and 8 month pictures.
