So several months on I was wondering if it looks like anything has changed/progressed? To me, my hairline looks faded and a lot thinner at the moment, any thoughts?

    It looks the same.

Still like I said before, you really don't have much to worry about.

You definitely have a little bit of recession on one side. However, it's hard to tell if you're just going to a mature hairline or recessing past your mature hairline.

Your hair is thick so nobody will think twice regardless of what is actually happening. You have a heavy cowlick in the back like I do, but once mine started to thin out a little bit the hairline really started to thin out. So keep your eye on that.

To me that sounds like something to worry about. Im only 22 and if its definitely showing signs of recession surely that will lead to further problems? I don't understand this whole mature hairline?

By signs of recession I mean, your hairline isn't perfect. But there are like 5% people over the age of 25 with perfect hairlines

What I mean by recession is look at adam scott from parks and recreation - his hairline isn't perfect and has "dents" or whatever you want to call it, but his hair is so thick he can do literally anything he wants with it and nobody would considering him to be "receding"

I wouldn't consider you to be receding either.

I'm not a doctor, though. Or an expert - just do what makes your mind at ease. If that means taking a super low dosage of fin, go for it. But other than that, it would be pretty pointless to do anything else, since you have no thinning visable.

You mentioned seeing more hair falling than usual. Sometimes this is seasonal. My hair used to get regularly thinner in the Fall for several years. Also, do you take any medication that has a hair loss side effect? Ten years ago, I took glucosamine & chondroitin, Allegra for allergies and ibuprofen. People in forums claim these can cause hair loss. It may have been a coincidence, but I had the worst thinning of my hair in my life while taking these medications. According to recent studies, stress, cigarette smoking and scalp sunburn can contribute to hair loss. On the other hand, coffee is good for your hair. Rogaine helps a little and I have personally experienced better hair growth when I don't "baby" my hair. Instead, I brush and massage my scalp every morning for about 2 minutes and my thin donor area has thickened by about 35%.

Nope, not currently on any medication at all so can rule that out as being a reason. Nobody recently makes any comments and people have referred to my hair as always being thick when I was younger but I just don't see it that way. There definitely feels like theres some thinning going on around my sides and crown but I cant seem to get an answer for sure.
