Here is a similar case (same age, NW 4a). Just 2000 grafts used to fill the crown and hairline with amazing results. I believe that the quality of the doctor, technique and post op care are more very important. I don't see any "hair follicles all spaced" or obvious HT.

Good luck, I hope you are satisfied in the end. That's all that really matters.
I spoke to an HT doctor and he said i'm a diffused NW3, and from the goals I told him I want to achieve, he said I need 2,500 on the front and 1,000 on the back. I find that it's too much grafts but I am pretty bald and I am an "Islander" (Island shaped NW5, diffused NW3 hair line). And from here to when I actually want to get the HT(May 2014) I may get more regrowth, who knows. But honestly, if he's going use that many grafts on me, I am not complaining. He says I need that much for "dense thick cover." I expected that because I see diffused thinners always need more grafts. It's an FUE.
