    HT first step

Hi I have been on Fin for two years now and have seemed to hold most of my hairloss. I am a diffuse thinner in the pattern of NW5/6 and I am currently at nw2. My doctor told me after before and after photos my hair is in the same condition apart from my temples where i have receded slightly.

I am 27 and live in the UK I have a few questions I would be very greatful if you could answer. I am looking to have the hair transplant next year after my 3rd year of fin working (proven by the doctor) I want my temples filled in as It affects my my diffuse thing is not to bad and I am happy to keep that in the same state it is in currently.

    1) I want to go to the US for my transplant as I want a great doctor can you recommend any? that are not crazy expensive but I still dont mind paying more for quality.
    2) I want to keep the shaved head look do hair transplant look ok with a shaved head say 1/2 grade. I dont mind about donor scars and I dont want smp.
    3) are there any consultations I can have here in the UK for a US doctor.

    Thank you!!

Congrats on doing your research and for being patient including seeing how you responded to finasteride. And also glad to hear that you are responding well.

Do you have any pics that you can put up?

Are you considering FUHT or FUE? Once you have an idea of the type of HT surgery that you are seeking, you should be able to start your search for a good reputable doctor.

Neither strip or FUE is a perfect solution to hair loss, even in the best hands. Some of our patients can shave their heads after FUE, others get some minor hypopigmentation. ACell helps prevent hypopigmentation and can regenerate hair follicles.
