    Histogen patent awarded

Patents are significantly important for raising capital. Two important criteria for Venture Capitalists are as follows:

    1) does the company have any patents
    2) will it make a return (and it must work for it to make a return)

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- Histogen, Inc., a regenerative medicine company developing innovative therapies based on the products of cells...

This hopefully means that they will continue to get funded.

Not that I need any convincing about Histogen's product. I'm 100% certain it works. I've read the evidence in their reports and seen the photos. Its coming guys. Just wish it would come sooner. And I just wish I knew when...

Well they got funding before the patent, so how does this change things?

That venture capitalists are attracted to investments that have patents. Histogen is a good investment and are showing cosmetically satisfactory results.

If Histogen need more investment which I'm not even sure they do then this would certainly help.

Also if you were Histogen you would not WASTE your money if you thought that your solution wasnt going to work. That would be stupid.

Hopefully this makes things easier for you to understand.

They lost their backing / money.

The more positive things going on for Histogen the better it is for all of us

Pretty much, a patent makes the company a more secure investment, the fact that they OWN the rights for the said procedure also adds to the company balance sheet which would help with the holistic financial profile of Histogen.

I always think negative to advoid dissapointments..............however this IS the 1st possative news i heard since the legal action. If Gail was just con-woman we know by now, she honest & the product shows promise.........now will they be allowed to sell it?

Is there any chance this could mean that Histogen could become available before the proposed late 2015 release in Asia and elsewhere a year or two later?

Not really, it doesnt speed up clinical trial times.

Ive been saying this since 2009.

I bet they will release it and a big phama will buy it.
