    Default lithium gel

    1. Where to find it

    2. How should it be used (no more than 2 weeks?; as long as needed?; etc.)

    3. Why is nobody using it in the dermabrasion section?

    4. The fact that garza patented the process makes me think the follica process (dermabrasion+lithum gel) can't be replicated easily in-home

VPA(sodium valproate/ valproic acid) (easy available), can be as effective or maybe even more.

If I remember correctly, isn't Lithium poisonous? Also, I think someone mentioned it was distributed it in France.

Yeah people should be careful and warned that do it your self methods can be dangerous. Sometimes people talk about potentially dangerous substances like it's sugar

I'm pretty sure the chemical these guys are using is lithium carbonate, which is a very common drug used to treat bipolar disorder (same as valproate). It's not poisonous at standard doses.

Oh, it's actually lithium gluconate... nevermind. It's basically the same thing, ends up as lithium ions in your body. The gluconate/carbonate/citrate is just to keep it stable.

Yep Lithium Gluconate is what the patent states, as well as a few other lithium based compounds. I found out Lithium Gluconate is available in France as a treatment for seborrhoeic dermatitis. Its brand name is Lithioderm.

**I wasn't suggesting in anyway that this was safe

I was asking about it's safety profile, current use, etc.

I just though, if it were "safe" (pic your definition), then maybe somebody should give it a go.

Can one of the more science-orriented guys on here put together some info on this stuff, and possible safe uses? I'm sure there is somebody in france that would be willing to give it a try if they could see all of this information in a timely manor.

I think it's time for someone to take the damn plunge already. Just buy it and apply it.
