Propecia Side Effects and Generic Finasteride

    Hi all. First post here.

I'm 22 and have been on Propecia for 19 days so far. I have experienced zero side effects. Am I in the clear now, or am I still at risk for getting them later?

I sometimes watch this YouTube channel called HairLossFromSteroids, and his advice seems pretty consistent with what I've read here on the forums and other places online. He mentions that he uses generic finasteride, that he buys

I was wondering, does anyone here have any personal experience with this site / its medication? They also sell generic Proscar and dutasteride.

Thanks for any answers. This is a nice site with lots of useful info.

I have heard some guys around here claim to get side effects after months on the treatment. Hopefully this isn't the case for you or me. I have been to the hairlossfromsteroids channel. He was one of the guys that got me started in this whole hair loss war.

I don't order from the site he recommends. Like many guys around here, I order my fin from inhouse.

Thanks for the info. Just took a look around inhouse and it looks really nice. Do you order Finpecia or Finax? Finpecia is all they have in stock. I still have many weeks left of Propecia anyway, but I'd like to know what to get because the prices here seem excellent.

Took me 8 months to get them.
Still recovering. Last ones left are sexual desire, which honestly might be blamed more on my relationship than the drug so thats questionable, but it is a bit lower. ED has gone away.

I still have a horrid discomfort in my taint area just passed the testicles and deal with awful ball tightening mos of the day. Where they used to hang LOW they are up and tight now. No lie.... LOOOOOOW, like low rider song old man low, it has been a running joke with me and my freinds forever on it. I used to sit on them constantly. Ill never forget the look I got the first time I asked my freinds "dont you guys hate when your b**ls drop in the water when your taking a dump. I then realized maybe there was a problem lol.

Anyway good with the bad I guess. The lower like uretha pain is the worst right now. My doc has no idea, my urologist I saw blew me off and honestly sad to say the HT surgeon/md I just saw saturday was more interested and attentive than the anyoen else.

Anyway enough about me, keep going, be CAREFUL. You may be fine, many people are BUT if you start to get sides and feel questionable at all STOP.

I tried 2 more times (really one more time) after my sides showed and I think I really pushed the envelope. If i just stopped the first time for good I would be much better off but I really dont want to lose my hair...... more.

I didn't get sides until 4 or 5 months into using finpecia from inhouse. I thought I was completely in the clear and didn't even have a second thought about sides until I realized I hadn't gotten an erection in a while and began to notice a loss of libido. I stopped using finpecia after 6 months when I couldn't ignore the sides anymore.

If I were you I would just keep taking it and don't try and think about any sides. If you do get real side effects you'll know so there is no use thinking about it all the time and eventually confusing yourself about whether or not you might have sides or if it is all in your head.

If you do end up with sides you can't ignore, I would suggest lowering your dosage by about half and giving it a few weeks for your hormones to adjust. If you still get sides, keep lowering and waiting a few weeks. This may allow you to take smaller doses without having to quit altogether. Remember, it takes a long time after each change in dosage to readjust so just be patient and wait it out.

Good luck and just pop your pill everyday and forget about it. My best advice is to think about your hair as little as possible and let the meds do their work.
