IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
Dr. Robert True (True & Dorin Medical Group): 2208 FUT 8.5 months
Patient in his mid 20’s presented to me with a Norwood class 4 pattern with likely progression to a class 5/6. As does frequently occur in younger patients with rapidly developing male pattern baldness, he had deep temporal recessions on both sides. Restoring the recesssions was crucial to attaining a natural looking hairline and youthful appearance. Estimated donor supply @ 6000++ . Treatment goal was two-fold: to restore density and contour to his hairline and rebuild the temporal peaks. At 8.5 months, the treatment is developing nicely with some further cosmetic change to take place by the end of the year. Of the 2208 follicular units, 1073 were singles and 1135 were doubles, a total of 3,343 hairs. This patient has a heavy texture, wavy hair. His donor density is 75fu/cm2. The donor strip size harvested was 27cm x 1.1 cm.
