What is hair growth serum?

I came across this from nanogen, a hair growth serum. It seems to be an alternative to minoxidil. I haven't found much info on it online or anywhere else, does anyone have any experience?

I had just dropped my old hair loss treatment regimen about 5 minutes ago, and now going to strictly use Foltene. If I don't see any results with that in the next couple of months then I will try the serum you mention.
