Fin or Dutasteride?
Which ones better for hair loss? They both have the same side effects but which one is better to prevent hair loss and maybe even promote hair growth? I'm already on 5% minoxidil but it doesnt really seem to be doing the job.

is this a good place to get it from http://www.inhousepharmacy.biz/ ?

Yes, that's where I get mine.
The members 25 Going On 65 and Aames get it from there too.

has it provided better results for you than fin? hows the status of your hair since starting dut?

I am a bit of a weird example to use. I got on Dut when I was NW4(I had already been on fin for a couple of years), it got me to NW3 in just 4 months but don't expect the same results, always give it a year along with using Rogaine. There are pictures roaming around here I am sure, of my results. Dut, in my case, was significantly better than fin. Significantly, results were pretty obvious.
Here is the problem, I have Alopecia Areata in spots on top of my head which hurt MPB medication from treating my MPB. In a couple of days I will go to the derm to get steroid injections and hopefully it will help with my hair loss. As it stands now, the only problem I have with hair loss is Alopecia Areata, because i'm not a terrible NW3, I just need AA to leave me alone so that the progress may continue how it was going the first 4 months of treating MPB. Which was really good regrowth and thickening.

I just started fin a couple of months ago, so I will see what happens in a years time. If I don't see any progress I will definitely consider Dut. Is dut any more "dangerous" than fin? If I have no issues with sides taking fin, will I be a good candidate for dut?

hi guys i would first try finasteride 1mg a day for at least a year and if its not working try dutas but remember its still no cure i have been on and off dutasteride for a long time and found it better for me as it lowers dht about 91-94% at only 0.5mgs a day whereas finast is about 71% at 1mg a day correct me if im wrong.

This is true but I also use brand name Avodart on top of the Dutagen from there.

Which generic product should I get from that pharmacy because they offer two different ones and one is twice as expensive as the other. Should I get Dutas or Dutagen? And does anyone know the difference? Thanks.
