Is it because it mostly affects men?

For **** sakes, COSMO is doing clinical trials for an acne medication which affects women and men (we already have effective treatments for acne), before coming out with a treatment for male pattern baldness.

    Are men not considered human?

Gaurantee you if MPB only affected women, we would have rallies and fund raiser marathons, support ribbons and lobbying to find a cure.
Because there are more serious crap out there like cancer. Being bald won't kill you but there are plenty of other genetic issues that will.

Men bald most of the time due to testosterone and dht-something we all have. Women bald for a lot of different reasons so I think it would take longer to address.

It would only be ridiculous to a person who is far from reasonable and does not posses even an ounce of sense... A person like you for example.

The delusion in this thread is pretty remarkable! To think there are multiple people here who actually believe that being a man, you know the sex that as pretty much dominated the world from the dawn of man until present day, is a "disadvantage" is pretty unbelievable.

There are more female hair loss sufferers out there than you think. Spencer says around 40% of sufferers are women

However I would say it affects the quality of life of men and women. This is because it subtracts from your appearance, which is the biggest factor in how most people will treat you in your daily life

If it only affected women, there would be a cure by now - because hair loss DOES affect the quality of life of a woman - whether she allows it to do so or not. That is reality.
You are saying that because you have never walked in the shoes of a young balding man. Men already have it much more difficult than women when it comes to dating. A woman affected with hairloss can just wear a wig and get a new boyfriend each day if she wants. On the other hand, hairloss would make it even more difficult for a young man to get a date.

    +1

Whoever disagrees with the above is unaware or unwilling to accept reality. What I have been saying all along.

You and everyone who thinks like are the ones who are refusing to accept reality - and attempting to substitute your own distorted version of reality.

Stop being such a fool. Grow up and get out and live your life!!!

    .
    LOLOLOLOL.

Most generalizable statement ever. It only affects a women's quality of life if she lets her. Same with acne. Same with having a hook nose. Same with being short. Same with being anything.

More men are bothered by their hair loss than those who sit on these forums.

Tracy. You're the reason these bullshit double standards about why men shouldn't care and women should exist. I'm stunned by your hypocrisy.
