There are more female hair loss sufferers out there than you think. Spencer says around 40% of sufferers are women

However I would say it affects the quality of life of men and women. This is because it subtracts from your appearance, which is the biggest factor in how most people will treat you in your daily life

If it only affected women, there would be a cure by now - because hair loss DOES affect the quality of life of a woman - whether she allows it to do so or not. That is reality.
You are saying that because you have never walked in the shoes of a young balding man. Men already have it much more difficult than women when it comes to dating. A woman affected with hairloss can just wear a wig and get a new boyfriend each day if she wants. On the other hand, hairloss would make it even more difficult for a young man to get a date.

        +1

Whoever disagrees with the above is unaware or unwilling to accept reality. What I have been saying all along.

You and everyone who thinks like are the ones who are refusing to accept reality - and attempting to substitute your own distorted version of reality.

Stop being such a fool. Grow up and get out and live your life!!!

            .
            LOLOLOLOL.

Most generalizable statement ever. It only affects a women's quality of life if she lets her. Same with acne. Same with having a hook nose. Same with being short. Same with being anything.

More men are bothered by their hair loss than those who sit on these forums.

Tracy. You're the reason these bullshit double standards about why men shouldn't care and women should exist. I'm stunned by your hypocrisy.

If it were the other way around, we'd already have a cure. Simple as that. Hair to a woman is so much more significant than hair to a man. That issue would be soo much greater than breast cancer. Either way, going bald is horrible. I'd much rather be a bald man than a bald woman. So I guess I should be grateful.

                Thank You!!!

How could a woman be so certain what it is like to walk in a mans shoes?

Nah same reason we cant put a spaceship on mars or cure late stage cancer. Progress on disease in the human body is just time consuming and expensive. MPB is cosmetic so its down near the bottom of the funding totem pole. I dont think its much else really and MPB product sales while not insignificant are not huge either compared to something like viagra

I NEVER said I did. Again, his comment did not make any sense.

Why do you guys ALWAYS want to make it like it is MY opinion. My opinion has nothing to do with it. Can't you guys read and comprehend? Or are you so full of your own distorted version of reality that you are unable to comprehend?

There is no way you could know if the above statement is true, unless you are a guy. Just because you don't see guys walking around the street panicking about losing their hair doesn't mean they don't care about it. I don't speak one word about it in any other place but here.

Ya, only your comments make sense, everybody else is stupid. You remind me of the joke where a man calls his wife to drive carefully as he was informed that one car was driving the wrong way on the highway. His wife replies, "One! I see hundreds of them!".

Men can not have a full idea of what it is like to lose hair as a woman. & vice versa. But it definitely impacts quality of life for both.

The only way you could go through life & not be affected by it at all (man or woman) is if you have a psych disorder where you are 100% oblivious to how people treat you, or why they treat you that way. Or an alternative is to be on drugs all the time. If you are drunk/high enough you may not care about how other see/treat you

The solution is to keep yourself fit and rock some good facial hair style. A bald man with low body fat and thus prominent cheekbones and jawline, would still look better than a person with high body fat and hair. Also helps if you are tall. Tall and fit looks good even bald. Just look at The Rock. IMO, he looks pretty good.
