Hey guys,
Cotsarelis has previously stated in this interview:

"The technology does not yet exist for
determining whether this pathological in-
crease in PGD 2 is responsible for inhibiting
stem cell activation in the bulge. Hair folli-
cle stem cells are finicky, and the culture
conditionsthatwouldenablethemtomain-
tain their stemness and induce growth of a
hair are unknown. Thus there is no way to
culturefunctionalhairfolliclestemcellsso
thatPGD 2 canbeaddedtoobservetheirim-
pact. When attempts are made to culture
hair follicle stem cells, they start to behave

cells haven’t even gotten that far—they re-
mainsteadfastlyresistanttoculture."
(sorry for bad format)
i.e. they could not add pgd2 to hair follicle stem cells as they did not act as they should outside of their natural environment.
Do you think with the recent hair follicle model developed this may now be possible?

It even says that it could be used to screen for novel drug compounds.
Could pgd2 be added its effects studied and then a GPR44 blocker added to see its effect as well? Also pge2 and other things i discussed here:
