Negotiating and Hair transplants......
Hi guys.....
I have been quoted a price for a hair transplant procedure.
The quote is higher than I am willing to pay. Other clinics are offering better rates. I would be happy to go ahead with this clinic but not at the price quoted.
I get the feeling clinics may be prepared to give a little on price, based on my experience with talking to various clinics. For example, I am often offered discounted hair surgery if I go to a consultation, or some clinics are willing to pay for travel, accommodation, they are happy to help out here and there, and one clinic contacted me offering me a lower graft rate when I hadn't contacted them for a while.
Is it reasonable to negotiate a price?. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience with this? I don't want to offend the clinic/surgeon, if it is not generally acceptable to do so.

Proceed with caution when bargain hunting hair restoration. There are corners that could be cut. A clinic offering you deep discounts may not have your best result as their priority.

Those clinics who do not advertise prices and send you a quote after a consultation........
They seem like the ones you can probably bargain with seeing as they don't seem to have anything set in stone, they secretly guard graft prices and at what point a transplant gets cheaper in terms of graft numbers.....

I have my prices, but we do our best to respectful of individual budgets. I'm sure other physicians feel the same way. In any people business one has to consider personal circumstances. We are not selling cars. We are looking after people and trying to make their lives better. Taking care of people does not work if you place them in severe debt in an effort to obtain more hair.
