Is this a mature hairline at 16? (pictures)
So, I've had a high hairline my whole life and not sure if this is how my hairline was my whole life, cause no pictures, but for-example, my hairline at the temples start on the side of my wrinkles, and I don't have straight wrinkles so maybe that's why I don't have a straight hairline?

also, what are the small hairs around the hairline?

http://s1351.photobucket.com/user/Gr...18618.jpg.html this is how I usually do my hair, it still looks quite thick but since I'm a dark blonde my hair is naturally thinner (also it looks reddish because of the lighting in this picture)
And this is the hairline from infront http://s1351.photobucket.com/user/Gr...679fa.jpg.html

Pics are of real bad quality but that looks like a receding hairline. Mature hairline is just the early stages of male pattern baldness. Some do get lucky and keep the mature hairline for a long time but you just don't know if that will happen to you. If you have a family history of NW5's and above chances are the hairline is going to keep receding. Also those small hairs around your hairline are hairs that once grew like normal hair ( thick, long etc.. ) but DHT has been attacking those hairs causing the hairs to miniaturize. After some time they will be so small you won't even be able to see them.

Sorry for bad quality but.. huh, what do you suggest I do? Also was curious bout David Tennants hairline http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zo42F6U8Ln...0/P1000358.JPG which is pretty high but isn't receding

Damn 16! What I would do is to first find out if you are really losing your hair. Continue to take pictures. Continue to compare your hairline to previous pics. Once you know for a fact that you are balding, then take some sort of action. I think propecia is out of the question at your age. I could be wrong, but I think you can use a keto shampoo and rogaine without any issues. Don't put off treatment too long though. The longer you wait the harder it is to get back.
