Default Looking for a Transplant Specialist

I live in Nebraska and I would like to get a hair transplant using the FUE method. I searched a bit online and came up with a few places but I wanted to ask here what my best options would be. I take rogain daily with finasteride and GNC Nourishhair pills, Im getting some good growth, Iv actually been on minox for about 4 years now, the first 3 years I u used equate minox without any growth but after switching to rogain along with finasteride im getting my sideburns back and some more growth all around.

Would it be a good idea to look out of state for the premier transplant specialists or would finding someone to do it in my state be better? What kind of things should I be looking for when considering a specialist? Any help would be great thx alot.

Forget about location and concentrate on reputation and results. Checking out the IAHRS doctors should be your first step, then work from there. Some people are even traveling to Europe to have surgery with some of the IAHRS doctors there for various reasons, be it price or technique.

Start here and ask a lot of questions.

I would. I would also look for proven results and i'd steer clear or robotics. Finally, i'd insist on someone that dedicates at least 90% of their practice to FUE. Almost everyone offers FUE today. Most of them still believe that strip procedures are superior. I would not have someone who feels strip work is superior be involved in my FUE procedure. Any hair transplant procedure is a team effort. All members must be in sync. No team is going to be great at any procedure that they do 1-3 times a month. Finally, if you really want the best, look for someone that has at least 10,000 hours of experience doing FUE. You can do the math, but look for a busy practice that did nothing but FUE, for at least 5 years.

I had a online consultation from a Dr from Colorado, he said I was a candidate from my pictures I gave him. Here is the website, http://www.hsccolorado.com/. They give out 1 hour initial exams for free but its a bit of a drive from where I live, which is 10 hours away.

Here is a video of our recent patient from the UK we captured last week. His result represents a strip surgery repair and 3007 FUE/CIT grafts after 13 months:
