    Default What Can Rogaine Regrow?

So, my hairline is thinning - majority at the temples.

The actually hairline has receded a decent amount, but nothing that I'm really uncomfortable with - it's been like that for a while and I just accepted it.

    I'm 21.

However, over the last 6months to a year my hair has really started thinning out behind my hairline on the temples.

I started taking fin (.25mg a day currently - I'm easing into a higher dose to try to mentally/maybe physically clear away from sides) almost 2 weeks ago now, and have been doing rogaine twice a day since then on the hairline and temples.

I've noticed when looking hard at the hairline, the thinning areas are about half thinning colored hairs and half very very short colorless fuzz hairs.
Is this a good sign? It was like this before the rogaine started, and my theory is that these hairs are likely to regrow thicker to make my hairline appear fuller and then the fin will keep it like that. Is this theory likely? or only time will tell..

    Thanks!

Essentially I'm just wondering if having these hair follicles not fully lost when starting treatment will give me a legitimately higher chance of success, or if I'm just grabbing on to any sort of hope I can think of.

I am in the exact same position as you, about to start rogaine foam. If you aren't using fin already you should start that too

    I've read things like,

oh, minox can regrow what you've lost in the last 3 years
or in the last 3 months
or in the last 6 months
    or in the last year
    etc..

Is there any way to tell that the treatment is working and what is regrowing?
I honestly can live with my hairline right now but the thinning is what kills me.
If I can have a thicker hairline, even to what it was 6 months ago or whatever, I'd literally be jumping up and down...
