Default 20 YO and i start fin...

    Hello,

As everyone here i have a mpb, i begin to lost my haire when i was 15... My hair lost accelerated 2 years ago (when i was 18).
Now i see my crown thinnig, i start fin to preserve it. I have some picture (check my profil) , i shaved my haire yersteday, the result is not so bad (in my opinion) but i got some negative comments of my friend/family (like :"skinhead" "nazi" "what's your cancer?" ..).

However, I tried minoxidil 1 year but i had to stop, i had a lot of irritation / itching...

As you can see i am Norwood 2.5, it's the critic time so i have to do something..
If the fin stop my shedding, shoud i envisage a HT or not?

Than you and sorry for my bad grammar :/

You should post your pictures directly in the thread. I assumed you posted them in your profile so I just took a look, but most guys here won't do that. Your hair looks good shaved closed so if you can maintain what you have you'll be in good shape. Propecia really works best at maintaing the hair that you have so with some luck you should be ok.

I don't think you'll need a hair transplant if you can keep what you have.

Holy shit. I just literally laughed until I cried when I read that. Thank you.
    .......

Anyways, I think you might find yourself comfortable with your hair if you can get the loss to arrest at NW2.5 or NW3. As young as you are, even if your hair loss stops, I would still be concerned about future loss should you decide to stop fin or it loses efficacy or something. This potential makes a HT at such a young age a gamble.

Sit on fin for 12-18 months and re-assess.

I agree that waiting a while and staying on Propecia for a least 1 year before making any decisions.
