Penis TOO hard - post finasteride
I am suffering from that symptom of having that it is too hard post-finasteride. This is a problem because it is not 'spongy' enough for stimulation. Anyone else have this?
I am also suffering from lower libido and lessened sensation.
It's been 8 months since I stopped finasteride, cold turkey.
Anyone else have these symptoms and what is the recommended course of action?
My doctor says that my testosterone is 1 point short of the normal range, and that my 'active testosterone' is in the normal range.

What I wouldn't advise is to coming onto the internet for medical advice.
Just go see a mens/sexual health doctor.
They deal with finasteride patients all the time and know their stuff.

Do you mean a GP or a specialist?
I won't seek medical advice here, just want to know if there are common experiences.

A mens sexual health specialist.
Given the time of day that you're posting and using the term GP, I'm guessing you live in Australia?
I might be able to recommend someone excellent who specialises in both Hairloss AND sexual health. If so private message me if you're interested.

I don't know how to PM you . . . but yes I am interested. PM me and I can respond from there.

My bad. I didn't realise how shit this forum was. I can't work out how to PM either.
Anyway, if you live anywhere near Sydney, Dr Rob King specialises in both Hairloss and sexual health and seems to know much more about Finasteride than any doctor I've ever seen.
Only drawback is he's expensive which may or may not be an issue for you. A 40 minute session would cost $100ish after getting the medicare rebate back.

If that's feasible and you want to see him then you have to register and book online here. Any other questions feel free to ask.
