    1. Yes.

    2. Depends. Thousands of €, literally, if it seems legitimate and looked genuinely viable. If more risky or speculative, €100 to 300 I guess. In other words, my contribution would be on a sliding scale. I'd definitely contribute in some form.

      No
i have to say that there are some comments that make me laugh..
A company can never promise anything.. you can't promise someone that he would get better with medication even if the medication is proven to work... You never promise a patient anything... you just can't.. everyone reacts different to the same drug..
companies can't promise when the product would be released.. do you think companies already have the cure in their hands and they just too lazy to release it?
Clinical trials aren't that simple as many people think.. yes, the waiting game is kinda annoying but we have to know, as desmond said here
(You are also aware that there is a possibility their therapy may never come to fruition)
.. i would be disappointed if a cure didn't come, but i will kill some one if i invested money on that and nothing came out..

If a company has a good product or even an idea, they'll easily find investors, no need to pray on desperate hairloss victims.
      Exactly..

Didn't Aderans buyout Intercytex? Would it not be possible for Aderans to get bought out by someone else and continue the work?

Still, and I can't stress me interest enough:

Since Aderans has completed all Phase I and II trials, what's stopping them from releasing a commercial product in Asia where Phase III isn't required???

Yess... How much would depend on the quality of the company and the trust I have in them and the prospect of a "cure"

Yes i would do it, but we need Sir Richard Branson to stop wasting money on space tourism, and pump it all into one super hair loss company, with some of the leading scientists in the world. It would be the best investment he has ever made ;-)

Shelling out cash for Aderans to go into Phase III would be pocket change for him.

Does anyone wonder whether there was a report of a serious side effect?

Maybe thats why they shelved it?

                        Personally, I would say NO.

I dont know, I just dont understand after all these years how they can just throw in the towel and refuse to offer any more funding, why cant they get Government support and get bailed out... oh yeah I forgot... they're not a bank.

When did Aderans announce that they had definitely given up?

Can someone let me know what's happened in regards to Aderans? I haven't seen any official statement from them saying they're done but here you're all talking as if it has been confirmed by them. Did this come from Spencer's conversation with Dr. Washenik? When did Spencer discuss his telephone call with Dr. Washenik? Has that particular show been uploaded to the website yet?

So basically your proposing a kickstarter for medical research into MPB?
Lets take a moment and think what happens if all the men in the last 10 years gave their money to a company working on MPB research instead of snake oils? That would be a LOT of money.
