Need advice: diffuse thinning 23 year old
I am a 23 year old male who has diffuse thinning all over the top and crown. I noticed this when I was 20, and now it has progressed drastically. I have been using regaine foam once per day for over a year and that has only slowed the amount of hairloss. If I were to stop it I would lose twice as much hair.
However I have recently started a more aggressive regime: I now put on Regaine foam in the morning, and Spectral DNC-L in the evening. I bought Revita but my scalp itches with it and I seem to shed a lot of hair. All I want is to thicken up the existing hair I have because although I have buzzed my hair down to a grade 1, there are some evident patches beginning to develop; the horseshoe pattern is starting to emerge.
I have also ordered some Beta sitosterol capsules (120mg). I am too scared to take Propecia because when I took Saw Palmetto I got sexual side effects.
I would like to know if what I'm currently doing is a good regime, and whether it will likely work? Currently I am 2 weeks into it and I believe I can see some hairs thickening on my hairline, as well as dark ones coming through. However I am yet to see any difference on the top of my head.
Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
