and doesn't most body hair grow to a certain length and stop? my arm hair and chest hair hasn't increased in length for some time ... also, maybe they should check why DHT promotes body hair growth but negative effects on scalp hair, hm ... im guessing the sides and back hair is also promoted by DHT

In my case this "some time" is counted in decades. And I suppose most, if not all, men are like that.

This is a long standing question for me at least, and I have yet to see an answer. Some parts of skin consistently have hair, others do not. Why is so? It is the same organ after all. Why hair loss has to happen on the head and not on the chest for example? Why it has to happen after all so early in otherwise healthy individuals?
And a side question, why even leg hairs fall? I have not seen any reasonable explanation so far.
