Fear massive shed after ceasing Fin
Started Fin in my early 20's, used for about 5 years, is now a NW2.5.
Thinking of stopping because of minor sides and fear that I might get brain fog.
I'm afraid that I might get massive shed. What would happen, will I turn NW4 or 5 in like less than 2 years? I'm afraid.

If you are destined to be a NW4 right now, you will be a NW4 very quickly. If you do decide to get off. I'd love to see a photo journal, never seen anybody do a "getting off fin" journal.

minor sides seem like a good trade off to keep your hair. just me i guess

How much does Propecia cost? Isn't it like £50 per month?
+ taking Minox and whatever else people take is even more.....
Taking Propecia alone (if £50 per month) for 25 years will cost you £15,000.........
Better off getting a Hair Transplant with that money, avoid any risks with taking meds and the hassle of taking them.
In the long-term meds are going to cost as much if not more than a HT.

It's true that meds are affordable as they are purchased on a short term basis......

generic finasteride 5mg x 90 = £45
cut each pill into 4 pieces and get 1 year supply of 1.25mg finasteride.
45 * 25 = £1125 for 25 years, for finasteride
kirkland minoxidil 1 year supply = £60
60 * 25 = £1500 for 25 years, for minoxidil
1125 + 1500 = £2625 combined for both

This is objectively the stupidest advice I have ever heard. Ignore this guy.
An HT is not a like for like substitute for finasteride. Nor does finasteride cost 50 pounds/month if you take proscar. If you want hair, you need to take medications AND get an HT.
If you don't want to spend money, shave your head and move on.

beware sides with this. I stopped again after a second run. First one was 8 months.... second run... TWO PILLS.
This time around my recovery is much much worse.
Not going to go into details but I am not talking to places about a HT. They can now use body hair as filler with donor hair to make it look fuller.
Trust me man you dont want to be lying around the house with a heat pack on your balls lol. Minor sides can turn into some major ones and take a time to be rid of.
You say your worried about brain fog but what else are you experiencing?
