Serious shedding, 'white bulbs' on each hair, need input!
I'm going through a really, really bad shed right now.
I could simply run my hands through my hair and LOTS of hair will fall out.
ALL the hairs have the tiny 'white bulb' at the end of them.
I'm not sure if this is natural shedding (telogen effluvium) or if it's permanent.
I started taking supplements/vitamins 2 weeks ago and my hair is already better in some ways (thicker, softer), but the shedding hasn't stopped at all.
Anyone know what the white bulbs indicate and have you had a similar shed?!

Hairs with bulbs at the end are just entering their resting phase. They will come back (although maybe not as strong).

But it's been happening for the past 4 years or so. It comes back but overall my hair gets worse and I've lost >50% of my hair by now.
Everything I seem to find on google shows that women are more prone to chronic Telogen Effluvium (ongoing shedding) but there are almost no resources showing this condition for men.
