Hi, Didi. I work at Dr. Cole's clinic and can tell you some background information. Back around 2002, Dr. Cole had seen Dr. Wood's patients coming in for consultation, and wanting additional work. Dr. Cole was very impressed by Dr. Wood's work. His great looking donor areas and the absence of strip scars was very attractive to him. Because of this, Dr.Cole traveled to Australia and met with Dr. Woods. Dr. Woods did not want to share anything about how he performed FUE, so Dr. Cole figured it out for himself. Over the years, Dr. Cole has developed a whole line of surgical tools and no longer performs strip surgery (only FUE).

    Hope this helps!

Cole did my last procedure at end of March, after speaking with him 5 minutes I know exactly why he only does FUE. Guy's a competitor, all competitors have ego's, at least ones who are actually competitive.

Someone used the word harsh. I'd use dry humor. It is what it is to Cole in terms of the procedure. He tells you based on donor availability + money = realistic result.

If you want a motivational speech and a hug, I'd look elsewhere. If all you care about is honest assessments and results to match, Cole is 2nd to none.

dr woods invented FUE but didn't want to share it? now dr gho invents 'doubling' (if you believe his claims)and refuses to share with anyone

why there is so much greed and selfishness in this industry?

ironically dr woods is not even that good at fue, b grade artistic skills at best ,overhypes BHT and dr gho is probably splitting grafts(refused to see dr cole, 2 failed tests)..very sad world we live in

lets hope dr nigam don't get intimidated by dr cole

This statement is on the money. Cole is on my short list if I go the HT route.

I had a procedure done 3 weeks ago today with Dr Cole. My experience was entirely positive. I found him to be personable with a good sense of humour. He was also very attentive to all my concerns. His staff were also very friendly and engaging.

I chose him because his experience performing FUE is second to none, plus I find his work with Acell interesting. I wear my hair very short and was paranoid about donar scarring. I wanted to give myself every chance to minimize scarring which is why I elected for the Acell / PRP. If I get some regeneration, that's a nice bonus.

7 days after donar area looked pristine.
