Think before you post.
Is this cutting edge? Does it belong in cutting edge?
You're asking about ******ing propecia. Post in the appropriate forum.

Yeah when I was talking propecia I was ganning weight plus felt weaker. This is due to reduction in dht and increse in estrogen. Estrogen is responsible for weight gain around belly and other area. If you want to keep taking propecia look into some estrogen blockers. Also lower the dosage of propecia if you can. I personally never felt good on propecia so I dont take it. It did work for my hairloss. Let me know if you need help looking into other options.

@thechamp You can try adding an fitness regimen and see if that helps counteract the weight gain.

Yeah, get angry sometimes, admittedly.
This is an old thread though that youve bumped.
And it was already reposted in Hair Loss Treatments where I gave a proper answer.

There is evidence for insulin resistance leading to weight gain on dutasteride. Not for fin though.
I gained about 20lbs when I started fin. But I was also stressed, searching for a job, drinking beer everyday, eating like crap etc...so who knows.

Hit the treadmill. Problem solved.
Wish the solution was that easy for balding men.

Propecia caused weight is tough to get rid of but still possible.
It's a side effect that creeped on me, which annoyed the hell out of me. The weird weight like on the chest and ass is what freaked me out. Like I was gaining weight in the areas a woman would.
You either quit, diet AND train hard at the gym...or continue to take that posion and hope the woman induced fat dissipates.
