Scar advice
Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on how to go about my scar.
I had a hair transplant about a year ago. it turned out to be a disaster.... doll head looking and a bad scar(I was told it was going to be a pencil thin scar) I went to see doctor Rahal and I am gonna have a second surgery to fix my doll looking scalp, but what also worries me it is my scar. I do not want end up with a bigger scar than the one I already have. I read about many people that have had scar revision surgery, but many of them seem to be unsatisfied about the results. I might end up with a better hair line and a descent looking scalp, but I am really scared to end up with a wider scar than the one I have now. PLEASE ANY ADVISE will be much appreciated. thank you

IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
Scar revisions generally are more successful when only the scar is removed and a better closure technique is used to close the wound. I would recommend only removing a little additional hair bearing scalp as necessary to fix hairline when the scar revision is done.
