Alpecin caffeine shampoo before onset of receding??

is it ok to start using this shampoo even BEFORE you START going recede/bald, just as a precautionary measure? My dad’s practically bald and i’m 19 and have NOT started to recede YET, if I begin to use this shampoo will it induce hereditary hair loss? If I do start using it and STOP using it at some point, will this lead to receding hair like when you stop rogaine?

I don't think there are any studies proving this works at all unfortunately. Just a gimmick.

Better to look at a ketoconazole shampoo (such as Nizoral or Regenepure if you can afford it) and minoxidil if you're more serious.
