I'm not so sure that will actually happen, unless we all pull for it. Hard.

Hi Dr Nigam/Spencer,

I think its imperative that this discussion be open and that we keep high on the priority list. I say that in fairness to both Spencer and Dr Nigam and the wider hair loss community.

I think 95% of the members of the board are probably like me - cautiously optimistic who want to get our hair back and get out there and get laid! Obviously if you visit this forum, you are looking for answers and especially the cutting edge forum - you take your hair loss seriously and are looking for a cure.

I don't want to be a pessimist but Dr Nigam is making some ground breaking claims and I am not saying that he is a fraud, but I think as a reasonably sceptical person we just need more evidence. In fairness to him he seems to be open to forum posts and answering peoples questions.

If Dr Nigam can do donor regeneration and has invented tools to do scarless surgery, in my non-scientific laypersons opinion that to me is a functional cure and a silver bullet. To us who can't tolerate finasteride or whom are NW 6/7 - this is our hope for which currently we don't have many options.

I feel that we should:
* petition Spencer to get Dr Nigam on the show
* petition Dr Cole or other IAHRS members to investigate Dr Nigam's work (he is open to this)

Spencer/Dr Nigam - can you two talk and if possible, maybe get Dr Nigam to do a presentation at the IAHRS conference in October if you feel that his work is legitimate?

These things are too important not to investigate and found out one way or the other whether or not these treatments can change MPB forever.
