Can minoxidil flakes covering scalp stop absorption?

I've been using kirkland minoxidil for a long time now, and when I shaved my hair I can now see white flakes covering the scalp which I can remove with my fingernails. Do you think those minoxidil flakes can stop further applicants of minoxidil from being absorbed by the scalp?

come on man if you got 2 blank papers on top of each other and you throw paint on it, will the paper underneath get as colored as the paper on top?

remove the residue or take a shower on a daily basis. if not enough, take one twice.

I've had the same issue before. I now rinse my head with apple cider vinegar(about quarter cup apple cider mixed with 3/4 water) and leave it in for 5 minutes before I wash. I do this once a week or ever other week and haven't had an issue with dried minox since.
