Dr Feriduni - 1740 FUT
FUT performed by Dr. Feriduni on an African patient of 34 years with the following characteristics:
- NW Class III anterior N
- Donor density of ~ 45-50 FU / cm ²
- Diameter of hair ~ 95 microns
Treatment Plan:
- A keloid test with 100 UF
- A 1800 FUT procedure with UF to rebuild the hairline and the area 'mid head'
- A medical therapy Minoxidil 5% lotion
Completed treatment (9 April 2009):
Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 1740 FU
* 490 single UF
* Double 820 UF
* 430 triple UF
The closure of the donor site was performed using the technique "double layer suture;
The extraction of the strip of skin was performed with The Haber Spreader ™;
The average density is about 30 FU / cm ² but with the kinky hair structure of the patient, the optical density appears to be very high, even at only 8 months postoperatively.
