Query on minoxidil shed!

Hi, I need advice on minoxidil shed, I started using minox along with generic fin 1.5 months ago. Also buzzed my hair to the minimum on the same day.

My hair are now 2 cm long, but whenever i apply minox every night, i see 25-30 hair coming on my hand which are very small as compared to other hair, like 2-3 mm long.

Is it normal? Can any one tell me why all hair are not growing at same pace? Or is it that newer hair are falling off due to minoxidil?

A normal person sheds 50-150 hairs a day to go into the rest phase until the follicle produces a new shaft.

Male pattern baldness works by over time miniaturizing hair until they are no longer visible. In other words, over time your hair grows back shorter and smaller in diameter before shedding again.

That's what those smaller hairs are. But over a long time of continued use of meds they should come back thicker and longer
